Winner of an eco-trouism Gecko award and voted top of the RACQ must do list, this amazing place was first built in the 1930s by Spanish dreamer, José Paronella, after he spotted the land on his honeymoon. An eco-pioneer, he built his own hydro-electric plant and planted over 7000 trees. This amazing venue is now being lovingly restored by current owners Mark and Judy Evans who are even selling electricity back to the grid!

We love how it looks like a lost city, only just reclaimed from the lush vegetation.
