Polli is excited to be stocked by Grand The Store, in leafy Somerville Massachusetts. The store was started by a graphic designer, a word of mouth marketing guru, and a creative director two and a half years ago. Grand The Store is an a two-story brick building built in 1890, which was first home to the Star Theater (the first theatre to show films in Union Square). Since 1914, the building has been home to a dry goods store, a Salvation Army, a Brazilian restaurant and an auto glass repair shop. The first floor now houses Grand, as well as an environmental design studio specializing in green roofs. The top floor is occupied by an architecture firm.
