Anna Gare, the host of Jnr Masterchef, was spotted wearing our Origami Hand Woven Pendant last night. Thanks to Therese and Alan for the photo.
We love thinking about what animals can say (everyone knows Alfie, Tess’ dog, really can talk). This cute calendar, from France based German illustrator Julia Freud, is cute, quirky and funny, giving us an insight into some furry and feathered conversations.
If you're living in or visiting Singapore check out this gorgeous boutique - Miles&Theodore. Their colourful collection includes textiles from Missoni (love love love), homewares from Eva Solo and jewellery from Polli!
We are loyal readers of the blog Design*Sponge and were thrilled yesterday to see that Grace had done a post on our new Wooden Collars. In her words...
"I have to fight off my inner collar geek on a regular basis. I don’t know if it’s because I grew up in an incredibly preppy environment or because I like how polished a collar makes me feel, but I have a real soft spot for cute collars. I picked up a vintage seed pearl collar this summer in Portland and have been waiting for the right occasion to wear it, but these styles from Polli would be a nice option, too. Made from sustainable hoop pine, each collar has a decorative pattern and ties in the back for easy use. Whether you throw one over a t-shirt or on top of a cocktail dress, these are a fun way to accessorize with a little character." Thanks Grace xx
Polli's stainless steel Hot Air Balloon earrings as featured in the weekend edition of The Guardian UK. It's kinda a big deal!
After so many requests to design a children’s range we’ve finally done it and it has been so much fun! Memories of making daisy chains, coveting mum’s earrings and threading beads have been shared at the lunch table. We’d like you to share your favourite childhood image or motif.
Polli has 5 pendants to give away to Australian and International entries. All you have to do is leave a comment after this post telling us what you loved as a child.
Entries close on 30 November. 5 winners will be chosen using random.org and we’ll let our winners choose their favourite Sweet Polli Pendant for their favourite sweet girl.
Check out the Polli interview on the blog Authenticcity. There are lots of other great interviews from creative and unique people from different cities around Australia and even internationally.
Dr & Devo is an awesome boutique at the Hackett Shops in Canberra. They carry a unique range from around the world including vintage clothes, accessories (including Polli, Pigeonhole and Stranger than Fiction) and threadless tees.
'But truly, here at Dr. & Devo we are just two kids with an education via TV, a desire to avoid conventional office work, an instructional DVD in krumping, pretty sweet art and crafts skills, too much pop culture knowledge, a bit of swagger, and, most importantly, some dreams in our cardigans.'
We are so excited that our new wooden collars are now available. Made locally from sustainable plantation hoop ply pine these collars come to life with fantastic colours. The collars are finished with coordinating buttons; one at the front and two at the tails of the cotton cord. We're not the only ones who love them either, check out these posts in Squirrel & Starling, Eco-Chick andGlamour. Wooden collars available in Patchwork and Peter Pan designs only $79.95.
The December issue of Inside Out magazine is all about Polli, featuring a bunch of our Eco Deco’s and our Amsterdam Jewellery Stand (we'll have more stock soon!). We also love the ribbon and confetti lolly bags from Poppies For Grace on this page.
