Happy Birthday Rosie! We celebrated Rosie's birthday this week with a 'Honeycomb Over'. Chosen for his quirky name, not his looks, this delicious cake from Adriano Zumbo in Balmain was delicious. Known for his experimental aesthetics and flavours this amazing patisserie is the Willy Wonker's of cake. Yumbo!

At Ion hair you can get green hair... well not literarily... but this Salon in New York boasts a 0% carbon foot print! It is lit by two giant sunlights, uses wind powered energy to run the salon, natural products... even your old hair is collected and sent to a company in San Francisco that makes pillows to clean up oil spills.

Author Kelly Doust has recently released her second book - The Crafty Kid - featuring a great range of projects you can make for / with your little ones. We love the table cloth cubby house which transforms any table into a secret play space. Kelly was promoting her new book on Seven's Sunrise recently and was wearing one of our gold pendants. Last week we were busy with the photo shoot for our new collection (available August 2010). We were lucky to recruit the talented Anne Stringer of Fashion Fruit who worked her magic (in matching boots and tool belt) to style the shoot. Thanks for all your help Anne.

Our exciting new limited edition range has been launched today. One of these pieces was featured in this month's InStyle magazine. This range of hand finished pieces are made in our Sydney studio using recycled brass and stainless steel, coloured kangaroo leather and reclaimed hessian coffee bean bags and leather remnants.
