OK magazine gave our Limited Edition recycled brass Leopard necklace some love!

Kristina is an illustrator, photographer, blogger and all round creative lady. Her drawings can be seen in fashion magazines around the world. Kristina’s blog kris atomic is where you can find her work, she’s very generous with her stills and illustration techniques, giving step by step processes of taking a sketch to a full colour illustration as above.  

Most of us at Polli are mums so prams are a big part of our everyday. While we love the modern convenience of our collapsible, modular, light weight, suspension supported prams we do love the styling of the classic four wheeled bassinet style prams. We saw one recently in a scene in the movie The King's Speech and fell in love! Here are a few of other other vintage Pram favourites including our own recycled brass Pram Pendant.

Polli's new vintage inspired necklace collection got some love in The Age this past weekend including our new Pram design.

Maybe it's Mad Men, maybe it's our love of all things vintage, but we're crazy for typewriters at the moment. We've just released a new Typewriter design in our recycled Stainless Steel and Kohl Gold (below). Here are a few typewriters we love.

Studio on fire is a design and letterpress studio that print both their own and the work of  other designers. They have a great blog beast pieces where you can find all sorts of information on letterpress including videos of tour of the studio, demos of printing processors and workshops... in Minnesota!

This event is being held this Sunday in Singapore. This gorgeous little girl has been diagnosed with a rare genetic disease which is sadly fatal. The event is being held by the friends of her family to raise money for her medical bills. If you are based in Singapore it should be a great day and is certainly an important cause.

Our lovely Singapore Rep Alicia is donating over $500 of Polli stock for the event.

Jasper dressed in his Super Man outfit today so Sherri made us a matching Super Summer Salad.

In a large bowl combine:
5 cups of cooked mixed grains (we had grainy goodness of rice and red quinoa)
1 bunch of watercress, washed and stalks discarded
2 cobs of cooked corn
1 red capsicum finely sliced
3 peaches, peeled and cubed
1 apple cubed
1 handful of fresh mint, chopped
1 handful of fresh coriander, leaves only

Dress on the go with:
3 passion fruits
1 orange, juiced
1cm of fresh ginger, finely sliced
1 pinch of salt
1 glug of olive oil

Toss to combine and seat the table! Serves 6 as a delicious light lunch. Thanks Sherri x

We love the children's patterns by Brooklyn based company Oliver + S, we all stocked up on patterns late last year so we've got lots of projects to keep us busy! They've got a gorgeous blog and I can already see more projects that Indie would love - a tutu, a hat with ears, a penguin backpack and a dress for her baby doll!
