We are so enchanted by the work of London based illustrator Kate Wilson. She is a really talented illustrator obsessed with drawing "Little Doodles” inspired by everything from the clasp of a quirky handbag being sported by a fashionista on the streets to the perfect cupcake in a patisserie window.  Her beautiful pen style is complimented by her fanciful imagination in a world where birds adopt human personalities and food obsessions. Her work is super affordable and can be purchased (when she’s back from holidays) from her Etsy store.

We are big fans of the beautiful work of Yoran Morvant. These beautiful, natural stones are artfully decorated with beautifully hand drawn patterns. "Each line is carefully drafted by hand, forming sequences of layered patterns. The natural shape of a stone inspires each image without need of a preceding sketch."

With Valentine's Day just two weeks away we thought we'd share a few items you might fall in love with.

Sherri cooked up more delicious salads this week including this - Lentil as Anything - masterpiece.

If you'd like to try it here's what went into it:
3-4 sticks of celery, chopped
1 handful of mushrooms chopped
1 sprinkle of your favourite spices (Sherri loves Herbie's Spices)
1 drizzle of olive oil
saute these 4 ingredients, then add
4 cups of uncooked long grain brown rice + water to absorb
allow rice mix to cool then add
1 tin of lentils, drained
1 red capsicum, finely sliced
1/2 bunch fresh coriander, torn
1 bunch fresh dill, torn
2 handfuls of toasted almonds
1 lime, juiced
toss to combine

Serve with salad of green beans, peaches and watercress.

Feeds 8 hungry people!

Jasper has started solids now and was enjoying mashed banana while he eyed off Sherri's feast!
