More plants growing in strange positions! Kate took this shot of a vertical succulent wall at Flora Grubb Gardens in San Francisco. It looks like one of Pia's beautiful patchwork quilts.

We've been spoilt with Sherri's vegetarian lunches for a long time now and we're really missing them now that she's following her lighting dream. Luckily we're kept healthy by Anna's organic fruit and veggie co-op boxes - full of veggies and a great challenge each week in the kitchen.
Kate was travelling up the West Coast recently and stumbled across Real Food Co. Selling organic and mostly local veggies and cheese that rivals Holy Goat!

Uncle Jers was one of our first stockists on the West Coast. Rob and Cassandra have created an eclectic mix from all over the world including Australia, India and Mexico. This beautiful space houses clothes, homewares, children's toys, greeting cards and sea monkeys!

Polli is really proud to have our jewellery sold in some of the top galleries around the world including The J Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles. This amazing legacy is nestled in the hills and not only has an amazing art collection (and excellent gift store) but sweeping views across the valley.

Polli is really excited to be collaborating with Aaron Stewart's Pillow Pillow Pillow to release a range of stainless steel jewellery based around their four legged friends. Their playful pillow and totes feature a varierty of cute companions including Scooter (above). Woof!

Polli has also teamed up with WWF and is donating $1.00 from the sale of each piece in this collection to help the protection of animals.

Speaking of plants growing in mysterious ways / places check out this awesome store front at Silverlake in LA!

This organically focused beauty salon - Natural Mind Beauty and Beyond - has been designed by Patrick Blanc. Patrick invented the concept of a vertical garden in the late 80s. Brilliant! Thanks for the photos Kate.

Polli was very proud to launch our new range at the New York International Gift Fair last weekend. Kate and John managed the booth for us and did a beautiful job. It's a great opportunity to catch up with our North American retailers and show them our new collection 'in the flesh'. The new Flock design featured in red on our white walls.

We're building a little neighbourhood of Australia brands at the show and were lucky to have Pratten and Apple&Bee as our neighbours.

Kate was in LA this week and popped into Mercado, it's a beautiful store with understated decadence. Check out these amazing photographs (above). The photographer, Mike Lorrig, has a property in upstate NY. He photographs animals that he rescues and then donates the proceeds of the sale of the photographs to the Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary.

We love tea cozys at Polli and have our very own thanks to Hannah! These cute felt, handmade tea cozys are from Germany and made from 100% merino wool... baaa
