We love Summer Allen’s blog design is mine, Summer is the kind of person we would love to be pals with, she is a mum, baker, curates a beautiful blog, loves cups of tea and colourful macaroons, did I mention she is a baker! Oh to have a baker friend. Summer put this lovely list of valentines gifts together which includes our new colour way of woven Peacock feather pendant. Thanks Summer xx

As you may have guess we love patterns and think these clever and quirky cards from Andrew Kolb are the perfect way to send some individual love without the whole permanent business.
Who wouldn’t want to breakfast with one of these beautiful animals. The Giraffe Manor looks like the perfect spot to take the kids, although every holiday after might pale in comparison.

It's been another busy week in the Polli studio. The New York Gift Fair just finished and we're preparing for our own Sydney trade fair later this month. This week we hunted through vintage furniture auctions to find some new pieces to display our jewellery on.
Paper is a wonderful medium - it is lightweight, easy to store for reuse, and can be recycled. We stumbled across Gee Fan Eng, an artist and illustrator who works out of her small bedroom studio in Malaysia. Her Mr Rabbit paper dolls, complete with maracas, are incredibly sweet and make us remember afternoons spent dressing paper dolls.
Thank you to Pentimento on King Street, Newtown who invited us back to do another window display to celebrate the launch of our new collection - Origins.
Given the tribal inspiration of our new designs we chose these bundles of St Johns Wort as a back drop to the jewellery. The St Johns Wort was harvested by Polli mum and local artist Ro Murray in Cassilis NSW. Ro used them in an installation called 'one man's poison' at ExVoto: Joseph Beuys INDEX Space 2011.
Who doesn’t love daydreaming about trips overseas? This music and lifestyle hotel in Berlin caught our eye, and is making us want to hop on the next plane to Germany. Nhow features a gallery dedicated to innovative art including photography, painting, sculpture, design objects and multimedia installations.
Rosie has jetted over to NYC to launch our new collection - Origins - at the New York International Gift Fair. This collection has just gone online and features fantastic tribal inspired wooden pieces in graphic zig zags, fine feathers and geometric Aztec stars. The stand looks beautiful - thanks Rosie and Kate.
If you're visiting the fair please stop past our booth downstairs in Details #8115.
