Babka is a Russian bake with a queue out the door for a table or a loaf of the yummy bread. Good coffee is served and the treats are hard to go by.

Zetta Florence has an extensive range of stationary, archival and presentation products from all around the world. The store draws you in with the journals, ribbon, illustrations and coloured paper. If you can’t physically visit the store you can buy online however you miss the experience of taking in the beauty of the an age where writing a letter was a regular activity. 

Brunswick Street is full of great unpretentious cafes, restaurants, boutiques and bars. You have to experience this street to experience what Melbourne is about.

Albert Park is a lovely community with yummy cafe’s, bakeries and plenty of kids stores. One boutique that has a great range of style, fashion and gifts is Drift. The staff are great, extremely helpful and friendly.

At the Rose St. Artists' Market in Fitzroy we found Able & Game, who make these lovely cards. The clean flat colour illustrations with the sweet narrative make for a wonderful greeting card. You can also buy them online.   

While in Melbourne we stumbled across the Rose St. Artists' Market, where we found ourselves in an old industrial space filled with wonderful artwork from local artist and designers. This is a great place to come to find original limited edition pieces direct from the artists’

The Rose St. Artists' Market is open every Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 11am and 5pm, all year round.
